The relationships among the colors of this slab create an optical effect for which we seem to glimpse a tree in high relief. This waving tree that appears followed by others in the distance in the perspective is chromatically dominated by blues, with a marine hue and therefore tending to Cerulean, Steel Blue, Denim, with visible shades in the background of coppery tones that interpenetrate with the pictorial forms that refer to the bust with its branches.
